I began seeing Anjali in June/July 2007. At this time, a number of difficult situations arose which I found difficult to deal with, and decided that I needed help to find some clarity and direction.
Previously, I had been to see an Integrative Counsellor, who, although useful, did not appear to 'hit the spot'. That said, she was useful for someone to talk to, but I didn't feel I made any progress outside of the therapists chair.
As my interests lie in the area of spirituality and alternative therapy, a friend gave me the number for Anjali. I contacted her, and immediately, I felt calmer, and less anxious, because I felt that there was somebody who was willing to listen to me, and understand my problems, and actually help me to work through them. Her holistic and nurturing approach is what I found to be not only interesting, but useful. Her ability to integrate different spiritual approaches such as Reiki with more structured approaches such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is second to none. Anjali can challenge you without being confrontational, and she does not hurry you through a time bounded '12-session course'. The latter in my opinion, is not helpful, and can leave an individual feeling more confused compared to when they first started.
Anjali has made an invaluable difference to my life, and I feel like I am a changed person who is more confident and more focused. I approach life differently, and I feel I have a broader perspective on all situations that I am faced with. Additionally, I have been able to adopt some of the principles I have learned, and impart them onto adult offenders in my work as a Forensic Mental Health Practitioner.
I have recommended Anjali on numerous occasions to both friends and family, and have absolutely no hesitation recommending her to your service. I believe she will be, at the very least an asset in every way.
